- What is the price of (product X) in my currency?
Products are all listed in either Canadian or
American. There is a Tab function on the Main
page that you can click switch between the two.
If you are an International customer please call
us and we will work out your shipping and exchange
all at once.
- Do you sell (product X)?
Before you ask this question, please check our
"Products Catalogue & Ordering"
Section. All inventoried products are noted on
these pages. If you are for whatever reason unable
to find something call us and we will help you
find it. We are able to order ANY item produced
by one of the suppliers we deal with, however
a normal delays in receiving the item will apply
with the order.
- Can I get the tracking number for my order?
We can supply tracking numbers, no problem, 24
hrs after we have shipped your product. We will
try and email all customers with there tracking
numbers so you will have it right away. If you
don't get your tracking number for whatever reason
feel free to call us and we will give it to you
no problem.
- I am overseas, what is the cost and time to
ship something to me?
We use UPS to ship most overseas parcels, while
the cost is a little higher than Air Mail, we
strongly recommend UPS for the following reasons.
Anything sent via UPS will usually arrive in 4
to 7 business days and their service allows us
to track a parcel until it arrives at its destination.
UPS basis' their cost on the DIMENSIONAL size
of the parcel, so bulky or large items cost more
to ship. UPS's rates start with a minimum cost,
which is usually $60 to $75, for the first dimensional
pound rate and increases per pound after the base
cost.
It is not possible to track Air Mail and shipments
usually take from 3 to 10 weeks to arrive, making
it very difficult to predict an arrival date.
The cost of shipping via Air Mail is based on
the actual parcel weight and there are size restrictions
on how large or heavy a parcel may be (Sticks
cannot be shipped via Mail). Air Mail is UPS at
about 3/4 the cost of UPS.
- What size of goal pad do I need - or - will
a size XX fit me?
We are more than happy to offer sizing direction
to our customers. When asking us to help make
a size recommendation, please provide us with
the following information: -skate size -height
-weight -measurement from: inside of ankle bone
to center of knee cap in the front of the leg
-frequency of play. By talking to our customers
and seeing how they play the game and how they
like things to fit, we are sure that we can get
the right fit for every customers.
- What colours (or sizes) of product X, do you
have in stock?
With an inventory as vast as ours it is much easier
to reply to specific questions. Please state the
size and colour you would prefer to have and possibly
an option. This will allow our staff to search
for exactly what you want and save time. If you
are ever unsure call us and we will help you find
what you are looking for.
- How much is shipping of (product X)?
Unlike some other companies that have a blanket
cost for shipping, we believe in basing shipping
costs according to the size and weight of the
order. This is how we are charged from UPS and
we believe in being fair to our customers and
basing this cost on the same criteria. With this
in mind, we need to actually box an order to be
exact in quoting shipping costs, but the average
10lb (or less) box, shipped into the U.S. would
cost approx. $15 to $18 (TOTAL COST).
- What is my trade or resale item worth?
Although we do not accept trade ins, there is
a simple formula to approximate an items worth.
Although it is impossible to evaluate an item
unless it is in our hands, this formula will help
give you an idea of what your item is worth. ---Take
the original LOWEST selling price of your item
and subtract 40%. Odd colours & sizes, well
worn items & off brands or low demand items
will all be worth much less on a trade or resale.
- Can you sponsor my team, my self or my league
or can you purchase ad space in our publication?
Unfortunately we receive almost daily inquiries
on this subject. We do not do any sponsorships
for athletes. If organizations approach us we
will do special prices for them. All print advertising
is booked many months in advance and is only done
on a national scale. There are some other exceptions
so please inquire if you have something that you
think might catch our interest.
- Are puckfoils (mud flaps, cheaters,) on goal
pads legal in my league?
This depends on your individual league. In most
minor hockey leagues in Canada the answer is,
"no", but in many U.S. areas we have
heard that they are OK. You would need to contact
your league to answer this question.
- Why do I keep getting a recording when I call
in?
We have 8 incoming lines, when all are busy the
overflow calls go to our voice mail system. Please
leave a message and do not just hang up, we reply
to every message. Considerations: *ensure you
are calling during business hours, especially
if you are in a different time zone. We are in
the EST time zone, *remember we are in Canada
and the holidays may not be the same if you are
in another country *if the matter is urgent, you
can almost always get a 'live' person during business
hours, at 1-519-673-3810.
- Can you give me a price on a team set of jerseys?
In almost all cases, we need to speak directly
to the customer to clarify specific needs and
verify details. Team orders can be very intricate
and require special attention. There are also
literally hundreds of options and styles for the
jersey type and numbering options. We normally
assign one of our Team Associates to handle an
order from start to finish, to alleviate errors.
You are welcome to forward us all information
to start the process of placing a team jersey
order, but our representative will contact you
prior to any work beginning.
- Why was my e-mail was never replied to?
We respond to ALL messages within a 24 hour period.
Take into consideration there may have been a
server problem or bad reply address. We receive
many messages with incorrect return address' and
cannot respond to them.
- Can I get a "deal" or discount on
my purchase?
We firmly believe in offering our customer a fair
and equitable price from the start. Many retailers
inflate their prices so they can "negotiate"
down to the selling price that is actually fair,
thus giving the impression of offing to "deal"
their price. This is misleading and unethical
in our opinion and is not something we do.
We monitor our competition on a regular basis
and are always willing to offer a "price
Match" on the exact same item, if a competitor
has it in stock. We will also offer a refund if
you ever find the exact same item at a lower price
within 15 days of making your purchase. This is
more than fair and allows our customers to shop
knowing that they are receiving a fair price.

To Our Customers outside of North America:
Please call for freight quote…each country will have import rules from products originating in Canada , many countries will forward any additional charges to the receiver. Ups will deliver your parcel to your door once Customs has processed and cleared your items. Delivery times are usually 7-10 business days.
